TOM KA
Tom Kha — is a delicate and aromatic Thai soup with coconut milk, sour and spicy taste and a distinct aroma of herbs. It is prepared on the basis of galangal, lemongrass and lime leaves, with chicken or seafood. Less spicy than Tom Yam, and creamier.
Ingredients Tom Kha Gai (with chicken):
– Chicken fillet (thin pieces)
– Coconut milk
– Galangal (root similar to ginger)
– Lemongrass
– Kaffir lime leaves
– Champignons or oyster mushrooms
– Fish sauce
– Sugar (palm or cane)
– Lime juice
– Chili (to taste)
– Fresh cilantro – for serving
Suitable for those who do not like excessive spiciness, but want an exotic taste.
